Life can be stressful and mentally exhausting, throw in the Covid 19 Pandemic and it feels like more stress than is sustainable. Do I wear a mask or not wear a mask? Should I send my kids to school or do distance learning? I’d like to spend some time with my friends, but I don’t know how many people they have been interacting with. Is it safe to still take our family vacation? Should I send my child to daycare, or am I putting them and others they come into contact with at risk? These are all real questions that make life even more exhausting than it already is.
When we operate at high levels of stress for too long, it can push us outside our “window of tolerance” and, if ignored, it will eventually lead to a complete crash known as Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. In this episode on my “How to Recover from Adrenal Fatigue” series, I give some practical steps to help you identify areas of growth to strengthen your mind so that you not only recover from your crash, but you strengthen your mental health so you don’t crash again.
The truth is, this life is a journey. It is hard and beautiful and requires work, help and support. If you find yourself on the journey towards growth and healing from Adrenal Fatigue, or are currently in a place of burnout, click on the link below to learn more about how to recover your mental health as well as receive some hope and encouragement in the process.
